What is Extreme Platform ONE?
Extreme Platform ONE is Extreme Networks' AI-powered operational platform that unifies networking, security and AI in a single management experience. It brings wired, wireless and fabric networks together with security operations, observability and lifecycle management under one console and one operating model.
The platform can be used across public cloud, private cloud and on-premises environments with the same operating model. Humans stay in control of AI recommendations: proposed actions are approved by an administrator before they are executed.

No. The platform can be used across public cloud, private cloud and on-premises environments with the same operating model. The right deployment model is chosen based on your data and compliance requirements.
Do the AI features require a separate license?
According to Extreme Networks, Platform ONE delivers its core capabilities in a single subscription with no separate AI licensing. Premier Services are available as an optional add-on.
Does the AI make changes to the network on its own?
No. The AI assistant provides troubleshooting, root cause analysis and recommendations, and proposed actions require administrator approval before they are executed.
Can non-Extreme devices be managed from Platform ONE?
Yes. The Third-Party Management Engine (TPME) discovers and manages both Extreme and non-Extreme devices from one interface. Supported device coverage is confirmed during solution design.
