What is Sangfor HCI?
Sangfor HCI is a hyper-converged infrastructure solution that consolidates the separate server, storage (SAN), network and security layers of a traditional data center into a single software-defined platform. It runs on standard x86 servers and requires no additional SAN, separate hypervisor license or external security appliance.
aSV (Sangfor Server Virtualization)
A KVM-based, enterprise-class hypervisor with live migration, high availability (HA), snapshots and resource scheduling.
aSAN (Sangfor Storage Virtualization)
Turns the disks in your servers into a distributed, redundant storage pool, with SSD caching, multiple replicas and fault tolerance.

What is the minimum number of servers for Sangfor HCI?
Three nodes are recommended for production; test and small-branch deployments can start with two nodes. The cluster can be scaled out non-disruptively to up to 64 nodes.
Is Sangfor HCI compatible with VMware?
Sangfor HCI is an independent platform that replaces VMware. Existing vSphere virtual machines are moved to Sangfor with the migration tool, and both environments can run in parallel during the transition.
How is Sangfor HCI licensing priced?
Licenses are issued per node (server) or per CPU socket; aSV, aSAN, aNET and backup features are included in the base license. Contact TopTel for a quote tailored to your organization.
Does Sangfor HCI require separate backup software?
No. Virtual machine backup, snapshots and DR replication are built into the platform. External targets such as TerraMaster NAS can be used for a secondary copy.
