NVIDIA HGX B300 and H200 Servers — Gigabyte

TopTel Türkiye is the authorized distributor of Gigabyte Enterprise in Türkiye.

Gigabyte's 8-GPU servers built on NVIDIA HGX B300, B200 and H200 are designed for large language model (LLM) training, fine-tuning and high-volume inference. The G894 and G893 series are 8U air-cooled systems, while the G4L4, G4L3 and G593 series offer direct liquid cooling (DLC). TopTel supplies these servers together with QPS engineering for configuration, power and cooling planning, and rack-scale GIGAPOD project design.

What is NVIDIA HGX?

NVIDIA HGX is NVIDIA's platform that combines eight SXM form-factor GPUs on a single baseboard, which server manufacturers integrate into their own chassis. Instead of communicating over the PCIe bus, the GPUs are interconnected through NVLink and NVSwitch: the Blackwell-generation HGX B300 and HGX B200 use fifth-generation NVLink with 1.8 TB/s per GPU and 14.4 TB/s of total GPU-to-GPU bandwidth, while the Hopper-generation H200 provides 900 GB/s of NVLink bandwidth per GPU.

This architecture lets eight GPUs work together inside one server at high speed and low latency. In LLM training and fine-tuning, model parameters and intermediate data move constantly between GPUs; high NVLink bandwidth and large per-GPU HBM3e capacity help larger models fit on fewer servers and keep the GPUs fed with data. For inference, large GPU memory is decisive for long context windows and high numbers of concurrent users.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between NVIDIA HGX B300 and HGX H200?

HGX B300 is based on NVIDIA's Blackwell Ultra generation, while HGX H200 is based on the Hopper generation. According to NVIDIA, B300 has 288 GB of HBM3e memory per GPU and H200 has 141 GB; GPU-to-GPU NVLink bandwidth is 1.8 TB/s per GPU on B300 and 900 GB/s on H200. The right choice depends on model size, workload type, power and cooling capacity, and your existing infrastructure.

Should I choose an air-cooled or a liquid-cooled (DLC) HGX server?

For HGX B300 and B200, Gigabyte offers 8U air-cooled models (G894, G893) and 4U direct liquid-cooled models (G4L4, G4L3); for H200, this range includes a 5U DLC model (G593). Air cooling fits more easily into existing data centers but takes up more rack space. DLC fits more GPUs into the same rack space and handles high power density, but requires facility infrastructure such as coolant distribution units (CDUs). We recommend models based on your data center's kW-per-rack capacity.

What is the difference between an HGX server and a PCIe GPU server?

In HGX servers, eight SXM GPUs sit on a single baseboard and are directly interconnected through NVLink/NVSwitch; this design targets large-model training, where GPU-to-GPU communication is intensive. In PCIe GPU servers, GPU cards are installed in PCIe slots and GPU-to-GPU communication typically runs over the PCIe bus. PCIe servers are a more flexible option for workloads such as inference, fine-tuning, visualization and VDI.

Are HGX B300 and H200 servers in stock in Türkiye, and what is the lead time?

HGX-based servers are supplied per project and built to order according to the selected configuration; lead time varies with GPU supply and configuration. Request a quote for the current status.
